Our charming Victorian property features three comfortable, first-floor rooms, each with its own private ensuite bathroom. Every space is thoughtfully designed to offer a cosy and affordable stay in Windermere.
We’re a small, independently run guest house, offering room-only accommodation. As your hosts, we (Tim and Hannah) take pride in offering a personal, friendly experience and are always happy to tailor our service to your needs.
You’ll find Birch Tree Guest House at 17 Broad Street, Windermere, LA23 2AB, just a 10-minute walk from the train and bus station. We’re perfectly positioned for exploring everything the Lake District has to offer.
Within a few minutes’ walk, you’ll find a variety of pubs, cafés, restaurants, and independent shops. Lake Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere are just 15–20 minutes away on foot, and Ambleside is a short 10-minute drive.
